Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction
At J Wedding, we understand that circumstances may change, and cancellations may be necessary. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations can occur, along with any applicable fees or refunds.

 

2. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a client needs to cancel our wedding services, a written cancellation request must be submitted to info@jculturesydney.com.

  • The following refund policy applies based on the cancellation timeline:

    • More than 30 days before the wedding date: 70 % refund of total fees, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • 30 to 14 days before the wedding date: 50 % refund of total fees, minus the non-refundable deposit.

    • Less than 14 days before the wedding date: No refunds will be provided.

 

3. Non-Refundable Deposit

  • A non-refundable deposit of 10 % is required at the time of booking to secure our services. This deposit covers administrative costs and time already invested in planning.

  • The deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.

 

4. Vendor and Venue Cancellations

  • If the client has booked third-party vendors or venues through us, their individual cancellation policies will apply.

  • We are not responsible for refunds from vendors or venues in the event of cancellation.

 

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • Clients may request to reschedule the wedding instead of cancelling, subject to availability.

  • A rescheduling fee of 30 % may apply, depending on the new date and any additional planning required.

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 30 days in advance.

 

6. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or extreme weather.

  • In such cases, we will work with the client to find a suitable rescheduling option, but refunds may be subject to vendor and venue policies.

 

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.
